Walter Collins passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 75.

Walter was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was centered around his family. He will be remembered for the love he gave, the lessons he shared, his sense of humor, and the many memories created over a lifetime with those closest to him.

He is survived by his wife, Makie Collins; his children, Walt, Sara, and Elizabeth; Julia and Jeff; and his beloved grandchildren, Preston, Charlie, and Zoey.

Walter leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and a lifetime of memories that will continue to be shared for generations. His presence will be greatly missed, but the impact he had on the lives of those who loved him will remain.

A memorial service celebrating Walter’s life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Pilgrim United Methodist Church, 4325 Zachary Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55442.
