Teresa Schulz

Hanover, Minnesota

Teresa “Terri” Anne Schulz, 69, of Hanover MN, passed away on October 24, 2026 after a brief fight against cancer.

Teresa was born in June 1957, in Minneapolis, MN, to Leroy and Adele Kelzenberg. She graduated from Totino-Grace High School, and immediately began a career at Prudential Insurance working for the company until retiring as a director of training and development in 2007.

Terri married Gary Schulz in October 1986, and together they raised their children in both Minnesota and Pennsylvania. Teresa was always a dedicated family member who loved to spend time traveling with her husband, laughing with her daughters, and cooking with her grandchildren.

Those who knew her will remember Teresa for her incredible cooking, sense of humor, and commitment to caring for those she loved.

Throughout her life Teresa was comforted by her faith. She wanted anyone who grieved her to be pointed to God’s mercy and grace. She was grateful for a beautiful and full life and felt confident in the expectation of her home in heaven.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Gary; her daughters, Jennifer (Robert) and Jessica (Jonathan); stepsons Aaron (Jen) and Eric (Katy); and her grandchildren, Reagan, Riley, Miya, Payton, and Quinton. She is also survived by siblings Joanne, Steve, Sue, Judy, and Janet, their spouses and dozens of nieces and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Adele Kelzenberg; her sister, Anne; and her brothers, Joseph and William.

A celebration of life will be held at Lord of Life Church in Maple Grove on Monday, November 16. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Doctors Without Borders.
