Ronald Becker

–

Minneapolis, Minnesota

"What a long strange trip it's been." Ronald Wayne Becker, age 71, died September 14th, 2026 after a whirlwind battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on February 25, 1955 in Bloomington, Minnesota. Most recently lived in the peaceful town of Bevier, MO.

He was the owner of AmmoCraft, a sportsman shop, and he was proud of the business he built. Ron was a fan of the phrase "work hard, play hard", and encouraged his grandchildren to do the same. When he wasn't running his business, he was out in the wilderness, embracing life. He was a passionate outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, foraging for mushrooms, and watching wildlife. He was a mentor in the Three Rivers District Youth turkey and deer hunts, sharing his passion for the outdoors with the next generation.
Ron was also a storyteller who would regale everyone with tales of his adventures and light up gatherings with his jokes.

Ron’s younger days were filled with sports – baseball, football, and hockey. He also spent countless hours working on, and racing cars with his 2 brothers, Larry and David. He also remembered fondly the summers spent working hard on his uncle's farm.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lauretta Becker, and beloved aunts and uncles. He'll be missed by his daughters Amanda and Emily, their husbands Thomas and Phil, and grandchildren Charles, Lucille, and Cedar. His brothers, dear nieces and nephew, and many other family members and friends.

Join us to remember Ron at a memorial gathering on October 10th, 2026 at 12:00pm.
Lunch will be served.
