Richard LaFave

Richard Wallice LaFave was born February 10th, 1943 to Walter and Helen LaFave. Richard was a 1962 graduate of Buffalo High School. Following high school Richard went to work at Sunny Fresh, later bought by Cargill. He worked there for nearly 20 years. After that he went to work at the Wright County government center as a custodian as well as at the Buffalo Highschool for many years until he retired.
Richard married Mary Leonard and to this union 2 children were born. They later divorced.
Richard was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan. He was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus.
Richard is survived by his son John (Monique) LaFave of Monticello and grandson Brody, Daughter Jenny (John) Korhonen of Big Lake, brother-in-law Gary Korne of Elk River, 2 nieces and a nephew and many friends.
Proceeded in death by his parents Walter and Helen, brother Roy LaFave, Sister Pat Korne.
Funeral mass will be held Friday May 1st at St. Francis Xavier Church in Buffalo Minnesota at 1100 am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Luncheon to follow burial
