Patricia Breher

–

Rogers, Minnesota

With love and a spirit that was undeniably resilient, Patricia (Patti) Breher (Moberg) passed away on August 18, 2026, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born on March 18, 1957, in Kankakee, IL, Patti touched many lives with her generosity and thoughtfulness. As a young child, she moved to California with her family and enjoyed picking lemons from the tree in the yard and spending time by the ocean in Huntington Beach. She eventually moved to Golden Valley, Minnesota, graduated from Armstrong High School, and married her best friend and love of her life, John Breher. Together, they built a life full of love and doted on their daughter, Barbara Breher, born January 17, 1983.

Patti was a woman of many talents. Over the course of her 40-year career as a Controller, most recently at IMEG, she proved to be an indispensable asset, showcasing a unique blend of tenacity, intelligence, and dedication. But her life wasn't all work, as Patti found pleasure in crafting with her granddaughters (Grandma Patti to every child who knew her), golfing, gardening, and could often be found at the mall or in her 'happy place' as she ironed wrinkles with a look of joy on her face. Her nurturing spirit was evident in the beautiful garden she meticulously tended, mirroring her life, which was a testament to her love for growth, color, and vitality. She crafted not only beautiful holiday cards but also a beautiful life.

Her greatest pride and joy was her family, whom she cherished above all else. She is survived by her beloved husband, John Breher, her daughter, Barb Breher (Luke), her 'sissy' Lynn (Jay) Plaschko, brothers Wes (Cindy) Moberg, Randy (Mitzi) Moberg, David (Michelle) Krenik, stepmom Ginger (Tom) Pennez, in-laws Tom (Terry) Breher, Mary Breher, Bonnie (Len) Horishnyk, her two granddaughters, and countless other cherished family and friends.

From the moment they came into this world, it was clear that her precious granddaughters, Evelyn and Vivian Mullenmaster, were the most important people in her orbit. For those of us closest to her, her absence leaves a giant hole and she will be missed immensely, but she will forever be in our hearts and memories.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Carolyn Moberg, her in-laws, and her brother, John Moberg.

A Life Celebration Open House for Patti is scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Maple Grove Central Park Pavilion, 12000 Central Park Way N.

In the words of Elizabeth Edwards, "She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails." Patricia lived her life with such resilience, her memory will forever be a beacon of strength and love for all those she leaves behind. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society in Patti's name. Please join us in celebrating Patricia's life by sharing your memories and photos on her memorial page.
