Martin Cole

–

Little Falls, Minnesota

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother, Martin (Marty) Cole, of Little Falls, MN, who died on May 4, 2026, at the age of 69. Marty was born on June 1, 1956, in Perham MN to Loral Cole and Patricia Robbins (Dockendorf)

Marty worked several jobs during his life, with the last years at Larson Boats and First United Church of Little Falls. First United Church was his favorite job, and he served faithfully and where he worked until his retirement. There, his kindness, humor, and generosity touched many.

Marty will be remembered for his playful nature and quick wit, always ready with a joke or a lighthearted prank. He enjoyed teasing his mom and has been known to throw an SOS pad across the floor to mimic a mouse to scare her or rolling down the back window of a car and knocking on the front window going 55 mph. Marty was also fond of dad jokes and used them often.

Marty was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins; he cheered on his teams with passion every season. Marty enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and bringing smiles to coworkers by dressing as Santa Claus at Christmas. His playful spirit, laughter, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Marty is survived by his brothers and sisters, Mark Cole (Char), Doreen Larson, Lauren Ernst, Marvin Cole, Terri Kempenich (Mark), Peggy Kellen (Alex), Roy Robbins (Jen) and half brother and sister Mike and Michelle and many nieces and nephews and his First United Church family.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Mike.

May the 4th be with you!
