John Roesner

John Roesner, born on September 9, 1964, was a captivating force of nature whose zest for life was matched only by his adventurous spirit and his generous, thoughtful heart. John's life was a testament to a quote by Helen Keller that stated, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." He embraced every day as a new adventure, often embarking on spontaneous, exhilarating bike rides that would stretch into the hundreds of miles. His love for cycling was not just a hobby, but a reflection of his adventurous spirit and his determination to always push his limits.

John's contagious laughter and his unique sense of humor brought joy to those around him. The memory of his late-night cereal escapades, with his gigantic bowl, not a cereal bowl, but something much larger, filled to the brim, still brings smiles to our faces. His love for food was legendary, and his shrug and smile in response to our astonishment was indicative of his funny, carefree nature. In the words of Julia Child, "People who love to eat are always the best people." John was indeed one of the best.

His loyalty and dedication to his family were unwavering. John is survived by his sisters June, Dawn, Irene, and Ginny; niece's Jessica, & Michelle; nephews Christopher, Ryan, Robert, Timmy, Keith & Todd; Aunt Carol & Uncle Frank; cousins Theresa & Jennifer and his Brother-in-law Skip and his best friend Mike.They will remember him as a beacon of light, a loyal brother, and a loving uncle. His presence will be sorely missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he left behind.
