Carol Hoffert, age 80, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2026. Born on March 11, 1946, Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister whose life was centered around her family and friends.

Carol had a passion for music of all kinds, especially playing the piano and singing. She dedicated her life to helping others, always sharing a positive outlook and finding joy in lifting up those around her.

Carol was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Ken Hoffert; her parents, Byron and Katherine Larson; and her mother-in-law, Bernice Hoffert.

She is survived by her sons, Chris and Mike Hoffert and his wife, Nicole. She was a devoted grandmother to Josh Hoffert, his wife, Stephanie, and Abigail Hoffert. She was blessed with seven great-grand children: Eli, Ben, Ella, and Maisie Hoffert, Kyler, Zaniyah, and Carmelo Lee. Carol is also survived by her sister, Mary Kay Hastey, and her husband, Steve, her brother, Doug Larson; as well as nieces, grand nephews, numerous cousins, and an endless amount of friends.
