Brian Charles Carlson was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 19, 2026. Brian was a courageous and inspiring person who defied the odds countless times throughout his remarkable life. Though he faced adversity from his very first breath, he never let it define him.
Brian was born without enough oxygen at birth. The doctors told our parents that he would never leave the hospital, and they also said he would never live to see his first birthday. When Brian overcame all of that, they were told he would never walk. Once again, Brian proved them wrong.
There is so much gratitude for those who spent time supporting our family throughout Brian’s journey—coming to our home and providing therapy and encouragement. Brian was truly an angel from heaven, shared with us to remind us how precious our time here is. He was a true inspiration.
Brian lived each day with an infectious joy and a love for the simple things in life. His favorite moments were spent surrounded by family and friends, admiring the beauty of nature, and taking long walks. Despite the many challenges he faced, Brian was a beacon of positivity, his spirit untouched by his circumstances. His strong will and determination left a lasting impact on the hearts of many, teaching us all to cherish every moment of life.
As Albert Einstein once stated, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Brian chose to see every day as a miracle, inspiring us all to do the same.
Brian is survived by his loving sisters, Debbie Regan and Nancy Fischer (Steve Fischer); his devoted nieces and nephews, Jacob Regan (Rylee Kara), Cuyler Fischer, Hailey Anderlie (Corey Anderlie), and Chayton Fischer; and his precious great-nieces, Kira, Kinsley, and Quinn.
Brian was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Quentin and Donna Carlson; his grandparents, Reuben and Beulah Anderson, and Evelyn and Carl Milton Carlson.
To honor Brian’s legacy, we invite friends and family to share their memories on his memorial page. Photos, stories, and tributes are welcomed as we reminisce about the joy and inspiration that Brian brought into our lives.
