Antonio Taylor

–

Chaska, Minnesota

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio "Tony" Taylor, born January 4, 1981 in Covington, Georgia, and passed away on September 3, 2026. Antonio, an adventurous spirit who lived life to the fullest, was a beacon of laughter and compassion. He was known for his infectious humor, always ready with a joke or a funny story to brighten someone's day. He was also deeply compassionate, a quality that shone through in his care for those he loved. As Mark Twain once said, “The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation.” Antonio did just that as an avid fisherman. He was happiest when he was near the water, fishing pole in hand, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

Despite his personal struggles with alcohol addiction and mental health issues, Antonio was a resilient individual who inspired those around him with his strength and tenacity. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he was a devoted father, son, and brother. He is survived by his son Antonio Jr., his ex-wife Jessica Taylor, his mother Robin Taylor, his brothers Cody and Jarvis Carter, his sister Keishonna, and his step-children Payton Schwartz, Benjamin Schwartz, Scarlet Schwartz, and Justus Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father and his foster mother Yolanda Carter.

Antonio leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and strength. His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him. We invite friends and family to share their memories and upload photos of Antonio on the memorial page as a tribute to his life. He was, as Ernest Hemingway said, "a man who lived life to the full, and who lived it in the moment; always ready for an adventure."
